24 Hour AUMC Rogaine

Bogong Rover Chalet 2008
July 200826 SA Rovers and friends made the yearly pilgrimage to the Bogong Rover Chalet, near Falls Creek in Victoria. Joined by Rovers from Victoria and Western Australia, we had a fun-filled week learning how to ski, touring to distant locations and meeting new friends.

Mt Abrupt/Edeowie Gorge Hike
June 2008Over the June long weekend, Michael Woodward (Scout Bushwalking team) led a party of Rovers to the summit of Mt Abrupt in the Flinders Ranges, North of Wilpena Pound. Some climbing to reach the summit, spectacular views. It rained on Saturday night, for most of Sunday and on and off during Sunday night. We also visited Edeowie and Bunyeroo Gorges. Photos: Cameron
Cameron's Ramble
April 2008For Cameron's Rambler's Badge (part of the Baden-Powell Award) he organised a 7 day hike over the last 126km of the Heysen Trail in the Flinders Ranges between Hawker and Parachilna Gorge
